Nose Reshaping with Dermal Fillers

We offer nose reshaping procedures – with minimal downtime and instant results – from our clinic in Manchester

This is one of our most popular treatments

Non-surgical nose reshaping takes advantage of a recent trend in rhinoplasty to ‘rebuild’ rather than ‘remove’ tissues when reshaping the nose.

Nose reshaping using dermal fillers is an excellent alternative to surgical rhinoplasty if you are looking for subtle changes to the profile of your nose without wanting to go under the knife.

Who Should Get a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

The procedure is ideal for people who want minor alterations to the profile, or contours of their nose, without having to undergo a surgical procedure. This procedure does not change the shape of the bone.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty: What to Expect

A series of injectable fillers are used to build up different parts of the nose. This involves an injection, or injections, to the area you want treated. Typically, if there is a bump on the bridge of the nose, dermal filler can be placed above and below the bump to either reduce or eliminate the appearance of the bump, appearing to smooth it over. Dermal fillers can also be used to improve the projection of the tip, giving the nose a slightly more upturned and feminine shape.

Your First 60-Minutes Rhinoplasty

Everything you need to know about the treatment will be covered in your consultation, but there are a few things that are good to know.

Before your non-invasive rhinoplasty consultation, you should have a clear idea of what you want – as well as what you don’t want.  With this information, you can easily explain to the practitioner what your needs are and your practitioner will be able to ensure you have a realistic expectation of what this procedure can do for you.  On the day of your treatment, make sure you are well-hydrated and are not going in on an empty stomach.  Also ensure that your practitioner knows of any medication you are on before your appointment.

Once you have discussed your desired results with your practitioner, the anaesthetic will be applied after the practitioner sterilises your nose and the surrounding area.

Once the anaesthetic kicks in, your practitioner will apply the nose fillers as injections in the appropriate areas to achieve the nose shape that you have chosen. You may feel slight pressure or pinching, but the anaesthetic will ensure that you do not experience any real pain.

This is a quick process that is usually done in anything between 45 and 60 minutes.

After this 60-minute rhinoplasty procedure, the treated area might be slightly red or swollen, but you will be able to resume normal activities such as driving yourself home from the clinic.

While there is minimal downtime, your practitioner will give you instructions for your recovery time.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

When it comes to facial aesthetics, the nose plays an important role. A nose that is too big or skew can dramatically change the aesthetics of your face and make you feel less confident about how you look.

Rhinoplasty treatments are one of the most common cosmetic treatments for fixing and improving this part of the face.

The non-surgical version of rhinoplasty is sometimes called ‘liquid rhinoplasty’ or the ’15-minute nose job’ because this revolutionary injection procedure is so simple and effective.

By using dermal fillers injected around the nose tissue to subtly change the contour of the nose, this treatment offers a more natural solution for nose reshaping. This is because we use injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) as our nose fillers of choice, which consists of sugar molecules found naturally in the skin and other connective tissues in the body.

The placement of each injection is extremely precise and will be decided in your consultation according to your reshaping desires and requirements. For each of the patients at our Glasgow-based clinic, we ensure that the non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment is tailored to suit their unique needs.

As this is not an invasive rhinoplasty surgery but a non-surgical injected filler, there is no need for general anaesthesia. Instead, we offer you two options – a topical numbing cream that numbs the surface of the skin and a local anaesthetic that numbs the whole nasal area.

Nose fillers are a non-invasive treatment using injections so your skin will remain intact without the need for stitches. While you may experience sensitivity around the treated area for the first 24 hours, there is no downtime and you can return to work immediately.  Any minor swelling that you might experience will subside in the first few days or so.

Reasons to Have Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

As far as non-invasive rhinoplasty procedures go, patients can enjoy a quick treatment with instantaneously powerful results – all without committing to changing their nasal structure. You can only really unpack the true capabilities of a treatment like this in your consultation because every nose and face is unique and needs to be treated as such.

Examples of how this nose job alternative with nose fillers can provide a cosmetic solution include:

• bridge augmentation for smaller or flatter noses

• nasal tip projection to change the rotational angle of the nose tip

• hump correction to straighten a slightly more hook-shaped nose

• correct asymmetry on a slightly crooked or bent nose

• smoothing minor indentations for a straighter look

• Plus, the hyaluronic acid in the fillers plays a valuable role in hydrating and nourishing the skin.
